🐾 Nebraska Humane Society Day Declared for August 9

💰 UNO Alumni Power Omaha’s Economy

The Gist: A new report shows the University of Nebraska–Omaha added a whopping $2.4 billion to the metro’s economy in 2024. Nearly $1 billion came from alumni-generated tax revenue alone. Chancellor Joanne Li says the numbers reflect UNO’s growing role as an “urban campus” driving both education and employment in the city.
