💌 Polished bistro plates with heart and soul

4916 Underwood Ave, Omaha, NE

Ooh De Lally offers a sophisticated escape where the warm atmosphere is as intentional as the mission. Historic Dundee carries a certain glow as the mid-February chill settles over 50th Street.

While the holiday itself is fully booked, the bistro extends its seasonal specials to February 15. Between the signature cocktails and spiced mocktails, plus the commitment to culinary second chances, an evening here feels both elevated and deeply grounded.

🧡 Keep an eye out for orange mailers

The Gist: The City of Omaha is mailing orange postcards to 5,000 randomly selected households to help plan for our growth over the next twenty years. This twelve minute survey asks for your thoughts on local housing, transportation, and development priorities. If you did not receive a postcard, you can still participate through an open access survey available online.

Why It Matters: Your feedback directly influences the new master plan that will shape our neighborhood's quality of life for decades to come.

What’s Next: A final reminder postcard will be sent in February. Results from the community outreach are expected to be shared in early May.

🐶 Pups Play for a Cause

The Gist: Local pups and adoptable rescues took to the field at the Omaha Dog Bar for the second annual Puppy Bowl. Volunteer referees oversaw the matches while neighbors cheered on the participants. Every playful moment helped support Together Furever, a nonprofit providing emergency care for pets during family crises.

Why It Matters: Supporting this mission ensures that neighbors in crisis can find a safe place for their pets when they need it most. Donations collected from the event will go directly toward Together Furever’s emergency crisis program to provide immediate housing for local animals.

Hank is a gentle ginger domestic shorthair currently residing at Felius Cat Cafe.

At two years and four months old, this handsome boy prefers a quiet life. He is a thoughtful observer who takes his time building trust, but he rewards patience with soft head nudges and quiet purrs.

Hank is comfortable with other cats but would likely thrive best in a serene environment without the bustle of a busy household. His adoption fee is $100.
